A veteran radio personality known for his merciless and sharp take on anything and everything, Ben Harvey’s career began in Providence Rhode Island, where he stormed the WBRU airwaves at the age of 19. After college, he rocked the night shift in Philadelphia at Y100 (WPLY) before moving to New York City’s 92.3 K-Rock (WXRK), the home of Howard Stern.

Ben has also ventured into the world of television as an entertainment reporter for here!, the national premium cable gay and lesbian TV network, as well as an on location music reporter for the “Altitude” channel on GoTV Networks. He has been featured in the Entertainment Weekly “What to Watch” section, and was awarded 1st place from the National Gay and Lesbian Journalist’s Association for “Excellence in Online Journalism.”

Over the years, you may have caught Ben interviewing bands on MTV’s Advance Warning, spinning music on KROQ/Los Angeles and WBCN/Boston, and chatting it up as a guest host on the OUTQ and Cosmo channels on Sirius Satellite radio.

Ben has also interviewed a slew of celebrities and music artists, many of whom left a lasting impression. His on-stage feud with rock band the Strokes landed him a mention in the NY Post’s Page Six. When Ben asked reality star Omarosa to give him her best bitchslap, she had no qualms whatsoever giving a demonstration. And best of all, Rosie O’Donnell once told Ben he was “cute…for a gay guy.”
